For several years, Dominique Blais has been devoted to creating connections between the visual and sound elements of our environment. Working at the limit of what is perceptible, he explores the tenuous link between the visible and the invisible in installations which examine the connection with a place and with memory. Through subtle transpositions, Blais upsets our expectations and baffles our senses, opening them up to new perceptive possibilities.
Dominique Blais lives and works in Paris, France. He received his BFA & MA from the Ecole des Beaux-arts de Nantes, Master of Media & Multimedia from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Paris) and post-graduate degree from the Ecole Superieure des Beaux-arts de Marseille.
